Three-dimensional structures with a complex inner space that proceed
from simple geometric shapes are characteristic features of my work.
I am continuously interested in the random proportions of the interior,
exterior and movement of my jewellery.
My work includes both one-off pieces and jewellery in small editions.
I use materials and techniques that appeal to me above all with their
opportunities. I seek to work with simple methods, taking into account
the specific nature of each technique. The most important aspect in
jewellery design for me is the structure and its functionality, which
largely define the use of each jewellery piece. I like to study the
strength of a structure: the durability and functionality of piled,
interlinked, pleated and cellular forms. |
